Kunsthaus Meyenburg
Directly opposite of the apartment you find the Kunsthaus Meyenburg, where are in varying timeframes regional as well as overregional significant art works are presented. For example, works by Picasso, Feininger, Chagall, Miro, Warhol and many other artists will be shown in 2017.
Next to the villa ( one of the most beautiful art nouveau buildings of the city) you will find the adjoining public historical park. It’s a place where regularly cultural events, concerts as well as Hochzeiten taken place. At this moment you can admire a giant mammoth in the charming park of the Kunsthaus. From the top of the Kunsthaus you have the best view of the entire city of Nordhausen.

The Handball women’s team plays in the Thuringia league. The men from the Südharzer Volleyballclub fight in the regional league.
